The Eighth Annual Bench 5K run/walk to benefit Play Fit - Stay Fit! will take place on Saturday, May 7. A fun run starts at 8:45 AM and the 5K starts at 9:30 AM.
This is a great event... a great, scenic course through historic Stony Brook, race shirts and drawstring back packs by New Balance, great post-run party with live entertainment and free food and beverages provided by The BENCH... all for a great cause!!! Award divisions for this year include SBUMC/SBU employee, cancer survivor, and wheelchair. Registration on or before May 3rd is $25 and day of race is $30.
